1st Birthday Invitations continued...
A baby’s 1st birthday is one of the most precious. Even though the baby will not remember the actual party… they will see the joy on the faces of all those who came to the celebration. So, TAKE LOTS OF PHOTOS!
1st Birthday Guest List
1st birthday parties are mainly for the adults in the baby’s life. Keep it simple but special. Invite relatives and close friends. Invite the people that will in the baby’s life for years to come.
1st Birthday Personalized Invitations
Once the guest list is written, it is time to make those Baby’s 1st Birthday Photo Party Invitations. Since it is a photo party- start with the baby’s photo. Print one photo per invitation. Try to find (or make) an invitation with a blank front. Paste the baby’s photo on the front. Create a speech bubble coming from the baby saying “You’re Invited to My Photo Party!” Fill out the details, dates, time, and place inside.
Guest of Honor
Be sure to make the baby the center of the party. Create a corner with lots of decorations, balloons and a Happy Birthday banner. This will be the photo corner. As each guest arrives, take a photo of them with the birthday baby. Enjoy the party! Mingle, play, eat lots of cake, and TAKE LOTS OF PHOTOS! When gift time arrives, return to the party corner. If possible, let each guest help the baby open the gift they gave. TAKE LOTS OF PHOTOS! AND DON”T FORGET TO GET PHOTOS OF MOM AND DAD WITH THE BIRTHDAY BABY!
1st Birthday Goodie Bag
Before the guest leave, have them write a birthday wish for the birthday baby on a piece of paper and place it in the Goodie Bag. Once the party is over, print lots of copies of the Baby’s 1st birthday photo party. Place one of all the photos inside the Goodie Bags. Send a Goodie Bags to each guest. And seal one of the goodie bags in a secure box. And give it to the baby on their 18th birthday.
Thank You Notes
Don’t forget to send out a Baby Thank You Notes. Use the same concept as the invitations. In the speech bubble write “Thank You!” On the inside, place a copy of the photo that was taken when they arrived.
1st Birthday parties can be extremely fun and they tend to be very special so plan ahead for great memorable results. Plan with time and gather up a list of all the things that must be purchased. You should have many activities that include the parents and the children. You can have ball games in where you throw a small ball back and forth to the child with the help of the parents.
